About

Finance-trained. Web3 since 2016. Built for new markets.

While working in traditional finance at Barclays in London I got interested in blockchain and digital assets. I went all in in 2016, and since then I have built an oracle at Thomson Reuters, built the entire ecosystem for MetaMask from scratch, helped Zircuit get to $3.5B TVL, got two grants from the Ethereum Foundation and much more along the way.

Since then I've been working across borders: entering new markets, structuring partnerships and building ventures from zero across the USA, LATAM, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. I'm comfortable where the playbook doesn't exist yet: find the opportunity, find the counterparties, close.

My work has ranged from Fortune 500 companies to 10-person startups. These days my focus is growing ecosystems, creating and nurturing new partnerships, angel investing and AI research.

02Transition

Digital Assets & Web3

A deliberate move into digital assets in 2016, early in the industry's story: from enterprise blockchain at Thomson Reuters to ConsenSys, working across security, ecosystems and the business of financial infrastructure.

International Market Expansion

Markets operated across

Market entry, partnerships and commercial execution in very different regulatory environments. Not stamps in a passport.

USA · LATAM

Worked with exchanges, regulators, founders and investors in the US, and developed partnerships and commercial opportunities with projects and VCs across Latin America's digital-asset markets.

Europe

Started in institutional finance in London, then years of digital-asset work across the continent: building relationships with projects, VCs and family offices in a market taking shape under MiCA.

Middle East

Close relationships with the Dubai Blockchain Center, VARA and other ecosystem participants across the region, working on partnerships, growth and digital-asset market development in one of the industry's fastest-moving hubs.

Asia

From Korea's digital-asset ecosystem to projects in Uzbekistan: built local relationships, developed commercial opportunities and executed in markets with very different structures, cultures and rules.

Different markets, same approach: read the landscape, find the right people, close.

The projects I'm most proud of: what the opportunity was, what I did, and what came of it.

Web3 · Ecosystem and Partnerships

MetaMask Ecosystem

MetaMask is the world's most-used self-custody wallet, with tens of millions of monthly active users. Turning it into a platform meant building an ecosystem around it: partners, chains, dev community and programs. I started most of the efforts behind that transformation.

Zircuit Staking

Zircuit, a security-focused Ethereum L2, needed deposits, users and ecosystem partners ahead of mainnet launch, competing for capital in a crowded restaking market. Its staking program let users stake ETH, LSTs and LRTs to earn points on top of existing yield.

Web3 · Community

Account Abstraction Afterhours

Account abstraction (ERC-4337) promised smart accounts for everyone, but the builders working on it had no dedicated place to compare notes. AA Afterhours started as a small meetup for developers building and scaling with smart accounts.
